Why does a DoorDash card refund take 5 to 7 business days?

DoorDash releases the credit instruction immediately upon resolution, but your card issuer batches and posts transaction credits through nightly settlement cycles. Depository banks and credit unions require 5 to 7 business days to post the balance.

Can I switch my refund from DoorDash Credits to my credit card?

DoorDash Customer Support can route refunds to your original payment method if requested before the credit is accepted in the app. Once DoorDash Credits are applied to your account balance, they cannot be transferred back to a bank card.
