Walmart’s current refund page lists up to 7 days for credit/debit cards and PayPal, and within 3 hours for Walmart gift cards, Cash or Balance. It does not label those seven days as business days or supply a minimum arrival day.

Walmart.com returns normally go to the original payment method. Outbound shipping is not always refunded; review the actual return amount and order status.
If an original card cannot receive the refund, Walmart says store purchases may go to a Walmart Gift Card or Balance; online purchases go to Walmart Balance.
