Why was I charged a rescheduling fee by Prometric?
Most exam sponsors require Prometric to charge a fee if you reschedule your exam within a certain window (often 30 days or less) prior to the test date.
What if my employer was supposed to pay for the exam?
If you paid out of pocket, you must submit the Prometric receipt to your employer for reimbursement. Prometric does not retroactively change billing methods for individual candidates.
Prometric cancellation and refund policies
Prometric's refund policies are dictated entirely by the organization sponsoring your exam (e.g., the medical board or IT vendor). Prometric cannot override these rules.
In most cases, you must cancel your appointment online at least 5-30 days in advance to receive a partial or full refund. No-shows are never refunded.
