If you use a credit card at the station, a temporary authorization hold is standard. If you use the app, the session is billed directly to your saved card.
Idle Fees and Overstays
To prevent station hogging, EVgo enforces idle fees. If your vehicle finishes charging and remains plugged in past the grace period, you will be billed a per-minute penalty.
