The short answer
SPOTIFY is a Spotify billing lead, not proof of a recurring Premium plan or your authorization. Compare the account’s plan, payment history and billing partner with the bank entry. The inspected help pages explain these checks but do not establish this exact descriptor or every retained alias.
Check the plan before assuming Premium
Spotify’s US help suggests checking other sign-in methods when your current account is Free but you see a payment. Try the email, phone, Apple or Google sign-in you used. A Free account and an unexplained statement entry do not establish which account paid.
Open Your plan on the account page. Read the actual plan and manager details rather than treating a short SPOTIFY line or the example receipt here as a tier, price or billing-period match.

Match the payment to a receipt
Under Payment history, select the relevant payment in Your payments, then Manage and View receipts. Clear active filters if no payments are shown. Compare amount, date and billing period.
For a partner-managed plan, Payment identifies the company handling payments. A mobile or internet bundle needs that partner’s records; this page does not establish Apple, Google or PayPal statement formats for your account.

Cancel only the identified subscription
Direct Premium cancellation uses Manage your plan, then Cancel subscription. A Family or Duo member leaving the plan does not cancel the manager’s subscription. Partner billing uses the contact under Payment.
Premium normally continues to the next billing date after cancellation; Spotify separately documents immediate Free service for cancellation during a zero-priced trial. Keep the identified account’s confirmation and end date. No refund or posting estimate is promised here.
Does leaving a Family plan cancel the manager’s subscription?
No. Spotify distinguishes the member’s removal from cancellation by the manager.
Which company should handle partner-billed Premium?
Use the company shown under Payment in the identified account, rather than guessing from the device you use.

If the receipt does not explain the payment
Use Spotify’s official support route with a receipt or redacted statement screenshot. Hide the full card number, expiry and security code. Do not enter those details into this site.
