Round amounts can be wallet loads
Some cities offer a prefunded wallet. Montgomery County says wallet customers fund an account in advance and have each later parking transaction deducted from it, with a $0.25 transaction fee, while pay-as-you-go customers have the card on file charged for each transaction. Geneva says its Passport wallet takes a minimum load of $15 and a maximum of $75 and offers an automatic replenish feature.
A larger, round PASSPORT PARKING amount on a day you did not park can therefore be a wallet load or an automatic top-up rather than a single parking session. The wallet rules vary by city, so compare it with the wallet activity in your app account.

Where to find the receipt
Norfolk's Passport FAQ says all transactions can be viewed by logging into your Passport account, with receipts available by email or printed from the account. Montgomery County notes email receipts at the end of a session and parking history in the mobile app. Match the date, zone and amount with the statement line before contacting anyone.
Can Passport cancel a parking ticket I got after paying in the app?
No. Norfolk's Passport FAQ states that Passport does not own, manage or enforce parking facilities and cannot overturn citations. Use the receipt in your account and follow the appeal instructions on the citation.

Ask anyone who drives your car or shares your card whether they started a session. If no account record explains the charge, the OCC advises notifying your card issuer promptly about an unauthorized charge, in person, by phone or in writing.
