The short answer
CANVA PTY LTD matches the Canva entity name that Canva lists for some payment methods: PayPal payments show as Canva Pty Limited and Naver Pay payments as Canva Pty Ltd. Canva documents direct card payments differently, as CANVA* followed by an invoice number, so check PayPal or wallet records as well as your card. Then compare the date and amount with Orders and invoices in each Canva account or team you use.
How Canva charges are labeled
Canva's invoice help article lists statement formats by payment method: credit or debit card charges appear as CANVA* plus the invoice number, App Store purchases as APPLE*Canva, Google Play as GOOGLE*Canva, PayPal as Canva Pty Limited (Canva UK Operations Limited in the UK), and Naver Pay as Canva Pty Ltd. Because CANVA PTY LTD is not the documented card format, look at PayPal or other wallet records alongside the card statement.
Canva invoice numbers have five digits starting with 0, a hyphen and seven to nine more digits, for example CANVA*01234-1234567. Invoices are emailed to the account or billing email, and the View Details link opens Orders and invoices in Canva. Canva also offers a lookup that asks for the invoice number and transaction date from your statement.

Common reasons Canva lists for an unfamiliar charge
Canva also says a small temporary authentication charge, usually around $1, can appear when a card is added or updated; it is reversed once the card is confirmed, with funds released within 7 to 10 banking days depending on the bank. Canva charges a day before the billing date on GMT time, so a charge can arrive earlier than expected, and a small extra amount that does not match a purchase may be a fee from your bank, such as a foreign transaction fee.
- More than one Canva account, created with different emails or with Google or Facebook sign-in, or a team that is billed separately.
- A free trial that renewed into a paid plan because it was not canceled before the trial ended.
- A teammate who used the team's saved payment method for paid elements or Canva Print orders.
- Inviting someone to a team while on Canva Pro, which changes the plan to Canva Business pricing.
- A paid subscription for Affinity premium features, which is managed and billed through Canva.

Cancel a Canva plan
Canva says how you cancel depends on where you subscribed. For a plan bought directly through Canva on desktop or web, sign in to the right account or team, open your profile menu, select Settings, then Billing, then Cancel plan, and follow the prompts through Cancel subscription. Canva sends a confirmation email. App Store and Google Play subscriptions must be canceled in those stores, and uninstalling the app does not cancel a plan.
Canceling stops future payments, and paid features remain until the end of the current billing period. If charges continue, Canva lists another subscribed account, a store subscription, or a cancellation that did not go through, and suggests searching your inbox for Canva billing emails and a cancellation confirmation. Canva also notes that some banks keep recurring payments going after a card is replaced, using automatic card-update services.

If the charge was not authorized
If you still believe your payment details were used without permission, Canva's help page says to request a refund and include the invoice number (or Apple receipt ID or Google order number), the charge amount and date, and the email addresses you might have used to sign up. The CFPB advises contacting your bank or card provider immediately about a suspected unauthorized charge.

Frequently asked questions
What can the CANVA PTY LTD lookup establish?
It provides a reference for this exact statement wording and the registry's recorded interpretation. It cannot establish that you authorized the payment or confirm the merchant from a name match. Inspect this entry's evidence status and compare the original transaction with your account records.
What should I ask my issuer about CANVA PTY LTD?
Provide the exact descriptor, amount, date and pending or posted status. Ask which transaction system was used and which merchant or originator details are available. Explain any suspected error or unauthorized payment explicitly and keep the institution's response.
Independent reference — not affiliated with Canva. Billing names and policies change; verify with the merchant or your bank before acting.
