ATM is not a store charge or online purchase. It indicates physical access at an automated cash machine. If you did not make an ATM withdrawal, it may indicate card skimming or unauthorized physical card duplication.
Comprendre ATM
ATM line items appear when you insert your physical debit card and enter your confidential Personal Identification Number (PIN) at an ATM terminal.
The transaction record typically includes the machine ID, terminal street location, or financial institution hosting the ATM.
If you use an out-of-network terminal, you may see two separate entries: the primary cash withdrawal amount and a separate $2.50–$3.50 non-network ATM surcharge fee.
