How ParkMobile Processes Payments
Many municipalities use ParkMobile instead of physical parking meters. You enter your zone number, license plate, and duration, and the app charges your linked card.
Small convenience fees (usually $0.30 to $0.45) are often added to the city's base parking rate.
Wallet Reloads and Holds
Some users opt into the ParkMobile Wallet feature, which pre-loads funds (e.g., $25) to cover future parking. If you see a large, unexpected charge, it might be a wallet auto-reload.
Additionally, the app may place a temporary $1 hold on your card when you start a session to verify the account.
