What is the Squarespace charge?
A charge from 'SQUARESPACE' (often appearing as SQSP or SQSP* INV) is for a website builder subscription, domain name, or related digital add-on.
Squarespace hosts websites for small businesses, portfolios, and blogs.
Google Domains Migration
If you previously purchased a domain name through Google Domains, those accounts were recently sold and migrated to Squarespace.
Your annual domain renewal will now appear as a Squarespace charge, even if you never built a website with them.
- Step 1 Log in to your Squarespace account and review to the Billing panel to view your invoices.
- Step 2 If you use Acuity Scheduling or Google Workspace through your site, those add-on subscriptions are also billed by Squarespace.
I manage multiple websites; how do I know which one this is for?
Each site has its own billing cycle. Check the invoice number on your bank statement against the invoices in your Squarespace dashboards.

What should I do if I don't recognize this charge?
First, check with family members or anyone authorized on your account. If the charge remains unrecognized, contact your bank immediately to report it. Under the Fair Credit Billing Act (FCBA), you have 60 days from the statement date to dispute unauthorized credit card charges.
How long does it take for a disputed charge to be removed?
Once you file a dispute, your bank must acknowledge it within 30 days and resolve it within two billing cycles (not exceeding 90 days). During this time, the disputed amount is usually placed on a provisional hold, meaning you do not have to pay it.
