Kurzantwort
This charge is from Cloudways, a managed cloud hosting platform. It covers the monthly costs of running your web applications on cloud infrastructure like DigitalOcean, AWS, or Google Cloud.
Why is Cloudways charging me?
Cloudways acts as a managed layer over major cloud providers. When you see 'Cloudways Ltd.' on your statement, it means you or your web developer have deployed an active server through their platform.
Cloudways operates on a post-paid, pay-as-you-go model. At the beginning of each month, they invoice you for the exact server resources, bandwidth, and add-ons utilized during the previous month.
- Monthly invoice for managed cloud hosting servers
- Premium add-ons like Elastic Email, Rackspace Email, or CDN
- Backup storage fees for your server data
How to review invoices and cancel servers
To view exactly what you are paying for, you need to log into the Cloudways Console and check your billing history. To stop charges, you must delete the active servers.
- Log in to the Cloudways Platform.
- Click on the 'Profile' icon in the top menu and select 'Account'.
- review to 'Invoices' to view your detailed monthly breakdown.
- To cancel, go to the 'Servers' tab, click the three dots next to your server, and select 'Delete'.
